Mark Nieto has tangled with the Los Angeles underground for the better part of the last decade, appearing regularly on local radio and fine-tuning an aesthetic that fits comfortable at the intersection of instrumental guitar music and experimental electronic structures. It’s as COMBAT! that Nieto’s various projects and influences meet though and this Fall he’ll release his debut album on FoF.
We're proud to support the release by hosting Mark and the band for an in-store listening party and meet and greet. Please RSVP below to attend.

Local Natives have officially announced their third album, Sunlit Youth. The follow-up to 2013’s Hummingbird is out September 9 via Loma Vista Recordings/Infectious Music.
In a press release, the band’s Ryan Hahn said of the new record:
A lot of the excitement in making this new album came from discovering how to make songs in different ways. You start thinking, “What do I want to hear?” Forget about what we’ve done and what people expect. This is a song that I would want to hear. Lyrically, “Villainy” is about realising that you have the ability to change your situation, that you can start again everyday. We applied that to how we made music this time around. We wanted all the new songs to have a different energy, to challenge ourselves to do something different each time. - Pfork
We are honored to invite the incredibly talented JAMES VINCENT MCMORROW to Touch Vinyl for a one of a kind, solo show featuring the man, his keyboard and his guitar.
We Move, the upcoming album, marks a breathtaking and radical push forward for Irish artist James Vincent McMorrow, in what is his most expansive and ambitious work to date. Unlike his previous releases, We Move was written in constant transition. In early 2015 McMorrow decamped to Los Angeles for 4 surreal months, wanting to experience something totally alien to any way he’d ever worked before. McMorrow explains “Making this album was about changing so many things. Physically changing where I was, mentally changing how I think about life, about myself, how I think about making music. Every time I’ve made a record in the past, I’ve walked to the edge of where I’ve wanted to be, I’ve gotten scared, and I’ve walked back to a safe distance.”
